Leukaemia Care - 'Spot Leukaemia'

Great to meet with Leukaemia Care and be made aware of their new campaign 'Spot Leukaemia' to help people recognise the symptoms of Leukaemia.

Really important that we are all aware of, and that health professionals are training on, how to spot the signs.

Visiting Caldicot Castle

I had a great afternoon at Caldicot Castle & Country Park watching my eldest son play football and walking our dog.

Such beautiful grounds and walk around this impressive Castle, I would highly recommend it.

World Mental Health Day 2023

Great to support #WorldMentalHealthDay2023 in the Senedd today.

It was lovely to see children arriving at school wearing yellow too!

Meeting DEBRA UK

Great to see Simon Weston CBE in the Senedd, President of DEBRA UK, and learn more about Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a group of rare genetic skin conditions.

Usk Ciw Primary School - Senedd Visit

Wonderful to welcome Year 5 Usk CiW Primary School pupils to the Welsh Parliament.

Always a pleasure to talk to learners about what we do in the Senedd and answer any questions that they may have - particularly from my old school!

Thank you all for your interest!

Wicket 2 Wicket

Our region, our country, is craving more indoor all-weather sporting facilities and this is a prime example of what is needed.

Nearly fully booked all the time, high quality cricket facilities like this are in demand.

Usk CiW Primary School Colour Run

I thoroughly enjoyed participating in Usk CiW Primary School’s ‘Colour Run’ this month.

It was great fun for all those that participated!

Usk Church Primary School 'World's Biggest Coffee Morning'

Lovely morning in Usk Church of Primary School supporting and helping out at their Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning

Massive well done to Usk Primary School PTFA for all the money that they raised for this fantastic charity

20mph Protests

It was great to join protestors outside the Senedd and listen to their concerns about Welsh Labour’s barmy blanket 20mph.

Welsh Labour are intent on hammering motorists during a cost of living crisis.

It’s clear the public don’t want or need this. Wales deserves better.

Monmouthshire County Civic Service

It was great to attend Monmouthshire County Council Civic Service today, at St Marys Church in Usk, for new Chairman Cllr Meirion Howells

A lovely celebration followed at the beautiful Usk Sessions House.
