Funding for ALN from Welsh Labour to our schools is wholly inadequate.

ALN numbers are rising in mainstream education.

School budgets are stretched to the limit.

There is no money for extra one-to-one much needed support.

It was great to meet with FND (Functional Neurological Disorder) Hope UK on their annual Awareness Day. 

It was pleased to be able support and sign their declaration to support the FND community and to call for improvements to treatment services

It was fantastic visit to the lovely New Inn Primary School within my region and within my role as Shadow Education Minister. 

Great to be at and see so many attend this meeting at the Sessions house set up by Cllr Tony Kear, County Councillor for the Llanbadoc and Usk Ward on the RLDP.

It was fantastic to visit Zip World Tower just outside of my region to do the World's fastest seated zipline, the Phoenix Zipline! I loved it!

I enjoyed a lovely, Christmassy evening at 57 Bridge Street Christmas Market in Usk!

It was packed out with lovely stalls selling Christmas gifts and with smells of mulled wine and hot chocolate filling the air, it was a great atmosphere.

It was lovely to be able to support the ‘Palmer Centre’s Christmas Fayre’ in Chepstow.

A joy to hear the beautiful voices of the Chepstow Chatelaines Choir and Chepstow Singing Club, who were really fantastic.

It was great to meet with Age Cymru in Senedd Cymru.

Age Cymru are the national charity for older people in Wales, they do invaluable work providing confidential, impartial and expert information and advice to older people, their families, friends and carers.
